Central Queensland is a diverse area of Queensland (and Australia) yet little is written about it on the internet. cqcountry.com intends to change that with your help.

Finding information about Central Queensland on the internet is virtually impossible.

Do a google search for yourself and see what I mean.

This is where you the members of cqcountry.com come in.

As residents (or former residents) of Central Queensland, you are invited to write about your experiences and post your stories in this forum.

I encourage you to write about your town/city in the districts and at the same time, develop online friendships that you can use to enjoy this forum and use it to have fun along with the promotional aspects of the town you live in. This is not a history forum but a "general topics" forum which you can make your own with anything you feel is of interest to others so please enjoy it to the fullest and help make cqcountry.com a showcase for the promotion of Central Queensland.

For the purpose of this forum I have defined CQ Country "boundaries" as follows:

The 21st parallel in the north west to the Qld/NT border and 26th parallel in the south west to the Qld/NT/SA border.

Residents outside these area's are also welcome to join if they so wish.
